One thing you will notice when visiting Korea is that there a LOT of cafes. So much so that it is easy to feel bombarded with all your choices.
Eero Cafe is one of my favorite spots. The cafe is split between two floors. On the first floor, you can order drinks and desserts.
I ordered their seasonal-themed winter mousse cake, which had a strawberry filling and rice cracker crust. The bitterness of the iced latte pairs quite well with the sweetness of the dessert.
On the second floor, you can find more seats and a rainfall installation in the center and to the side. The sound of the rain is quite therapeutic, even amidst the sound of people chattering.
There is also a small exhibit called the โKarma Mirror room you can enter for a unique auditory and visual experience. If you take a look around the cafe, you will notice the recurring theme of a mythical lion-like beast, known as the Korean haetae (or haechi). This creature is seen as a guardian in Korea - judging good from evil and acting as a protector against disasters. You can also see haetae at important sites like the Gyeongbok-gung Palace.
