Front Seoul — Restaurant in Seoul

I was happy to find a place open late that serves desserts and matcha ! It is perfect to end a date without going to a bar. The place is quite nice and spacious, the atmosphere is nice, the overall is well designed, although a little uncomfortable. The seats are very big and comfy but if you come as a couple, you end up being very very far from each other, separated by a very low little table in the middle. We had to heavily lean with our elbows on our knees the whole time. But all that is fine, the problem is when you charge 8,5 for a latte and 16 for a dessert, not only I think you should have to pick it up yourself (the service should be included), but it should be god damn delicious !!! The matcha was cheap, not tasty with a bit quantity of hot milk (not even creamy) and the dessert was not bad thanks to the strawberries but definitely not yummy, just very aesthetic. My experience at Front Soil was incredibly disappointing.

First, the quality of the food was very poor. The ingredients felt subpar, leaving a heavy, unpleasant feeling after eating. The coffee was also terrible, and overall, the food seemed like it wasn’t prepared with care.

Second, the environment was just awful. The stairs were covered in a thick layer of dust, and there were human hairs everywhere—it was disgusting. The bathroom was even worse. You could smell the foul odor from three meters away, and it was unbearable.

Lastly, the service was terrible. There was no attention to detail, and no service provided at all. It’s shocking that this place has so many four-star reviews—it’s clearly a social media trap. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there.

Oh, and I almost forgot, the food is ridiculously expensive. I ordered four items, and it cost me...

But, not so much. Looks very nice and stylish, food was also tasty. But I don’t like service. Employees were unfriendly. My friend got cold coffee instead of hot. Than waiter told us that we can’t sit at the table what we chosen because it’s a table that can seat 4 people. Overall it was ok, but he didn’t offer us an alternative gut table instead of chosen. Also after coffee break you should put away table by yourself, despite high price and absence of notification about that.
