Read moreSorry I hate to do this, but working for a hotel myself for 21 years as front desk and management, this is the only way it will get fixed is if you put a comment on TripAdvisor for the owners to wake up.||------- NO INTERNET SERVICES!!!!!!||This is the truth. I stayed there for four nights. I'm sure some rooms have it but I've tried a couple rooms they've moved me to and it just went dead. Here's a tip. If you can't get service go to the 12th floor by 1218 it is strong or the lobby. Anywhere else and trust me I've walked all over the hotel you get dead zones. It's creepy that I had to sit on the floor outside peoples rooms constantly to get service.||I hate to write a review but I have to let everyone know before they book. I've been in 37 countries in less than 2 years so I spend all my time in hotels this is by far the worst internet service I've ever experienced and I've stayed out in the jungle in the middle of nowhere and had way better service.||The rooms are fine but dated and need repair. It's obviously been a soft renovation. | Meaning they made it look good on the outside of the hotel and the lobby but when you get to the rooms it's the "bait and switch" meaning it's old and dirty and falling apart. This is probably why the internet is not working as it's older cables in the wall that are not connecting due to corrosion.||Management will most likely write back to this review saying that they fixed the problem just to save their buns...but trust me I worked for 4 hotels for 21 years and this is common practice so they can get customers to keep coming back by saying they fixed the problem. Need to tear out the old system and put in a new wireless system completely. This cost money and by the looks of the inside of the rooms...this will not happen.||There's no excuse for the year we live in. It all has to come down to cheap owners.||Sorry about the review...I hate to do this... You're pretty much just sitting in a box with nothing to do when there's no internet. You can't even look up tourist information or any information whatsoever if you're trying to get around the city or get work done this is not the hotel for you.||The staff on the other hand are amazing and very helpful. I feel bad for them having to pretend like it's a new problem when you make a complaint. I've been there before...trust me from experience.||Once again I apologize.||Hopefully this helps get it...
You could at least have a wardrobe in the room. Your opening hours for your canteen for breakfast, lunch and dinner needs to make sense. Between weekdays and weekends. And also note the last time to go to the canteen. I was always arguing with your canteen staff because your price and opening hours wasn’t clear or ever advertised or noted.||Another stupid and ridiculous thing that happened to me in your hotel gym which I was paying for separately. Let me start by saying I’m a black woman with unruly Afro hair, so product moisturising is key to having healthy growing manageable hair. Obviously a lot of people are ignorant and don’t know, or understand this. Im mentioning this because most Koreans don’t know how Afro hair works. An old lady cleaning the gym changing room told me not to spray my hair with coconut oil. It’s funny because I mixed the bottle with 90% water. I went to the reception to complain about this with the help of a personal trainer. He tried to be on the old lady’s side saying maybe it’s because of the smell. Seriously? How ignorant, after they said I could use the spray bottle. I was still in shock I would never go back to that hotel. It’s a very spacious big changing room it’s hardly ever full. No one was complaining so why was the cleaner so concerned whilst staring at me struggling to comb my Afro in front of asian women blow drying their straight hair. Maybe you shouldn’t use the hair spray on the mirror as well. That has a smell to it. So stupid racist and ridiculous.||Some people need to educate themselves and grow up. Move on we are in 2020. There is going to be more and more black people going...

The weekends are packed with weddings or other events on the 5th and 7th floor. That’s not an issue, but trying to get an elevator is a real pain. Sometimes you’re pressing for an elevator, and then, the elevator is going up and down, and all over the place, but just not picking you up. So then other people end up button-mashing for the other elevators, and it kinda’ holds up the process. PLUS there are no stairs to use except for emergency situations, if you can find them. I mean, there are other elevators scattered through this building, why aren’t they dedicated to those floors? People keep crowding up these elevators that the staying guests are using. Not to mention, because of the events, traffic to here is a PAIN! If someone’s meeting you here, getting dropped off is not easy at all.
Oh, and just to be clear, the fee for losing your card is 11000Won (less than $11, depending on exchange rates). Annoying, but they let you now upfront. Worst of all though, is about 2.5hrs before checkout, they actually cut off your internet. Seriously? Oh, but connect at your own risk, because there’s no encryption, so I guess that saves them money on having to hire a full IT team to manage map out and manage their network. Anyways, time to get out...
