I recently visited FLOUR Artisan Bakery Cafe, and I am still raving about the delicious bread and pastries that I had there. This bakery cafe is an absolute haven for all bread and pastry lovers out there.
As soon as I walked in, I was taken aback by the warm and inviting ambience. The smell of freshly baked bread filled the air, and it lured me deeper into the cafe. The decor was rustic yet chic, with a cosy sitting area that's perfect for lounging with a cup of coffee and a delicious pastry.
The pastry case was filled with an array of delectable treats that made it hard to choose what to try first. I decided on the croissant, and it was hands down the best croissant I've had in a long time - flaky, buttery, and downright delicious. The bread shelves were full of fresh loaves of sourdough, ciabatta, focaccia, and so much more. I couldn't resist trying the sourdough, and it was incredible.
What impressed me the most about FLOUR was its emphasis on using high-quality and organic ingredients. Each bite of the bread and pastries was bursting with rich and robust flavours.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my visit enjoyable from start to finish. Whether you're looking to grab some bread for home, have a leisurely breakfast, or grab a quick snack while on the go, FLOUR Artisan Bakery Cafe is a place I would highly recommend.
Overall, I cannot recommend this bakery cafe enough. If you're a fan of bread and pastries, you need to visit FLOUR Artisan Bakery Cafe – you won't be...
Read moreThe store front says "FLOUR Artisan Bakery Cafe", but it is also known as Cauliflour, a vegan-friendly cafe.
There are a couple of vegan options hidden among the bakery products. All labels are written in English and Korean, and vegan items are marked as such, which should be convenient. Yet, you still have to browse through the entire assortment of bakery items to discover the vegan items.
When i was there, there was a tray of vegan cookies, as well as a couple of classic breads (ciabatta, baguette) which were labelled as vegan.
For drinks, you have the option to order soy milk or oat milk instead of dairy. There is, however, a surcharge of 500 KRW for soy and 1000 KRW for oatmilk. A bit pricey for vegans...
Overall, bakery items and drinks are made professionally, setting a good standard.
I only had cookies and a cappuccino here, and both were done pretty well. The cookies are large, indulgently sweet and very rich. One soft cookie here can serve as proper dessert!
The bakery cafe is quite large and spacious. It seems to be a popular cafe in the neighborhood, so it can get a bit...
Read moreIncredibly spacious and well organized bakery at a nice and quiet location. There are fresh baked bakery and pastries, and cakes. Both savory and sweet types are available. I tried the jalapeno hotdog bread and it was amazingly good. I also tried the cheese + truffle baguette but it was quite mid. The mushroom sauce was nothing special and the cheese had no taste. It was supposed to be their popular product (?)
Anyways, what surprised me was the coffee. Normally I don't expect a good coffee at a bakery but the latte they served was very good and smooth.
There are plenty of seats inside, most things are self service. It has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Great for a relaxing breakfast, work, catching up...
