A haven for lovers of traditional Korean cuisine offering a nostalgic journey into their culinary heritage. Famed for its naengmyeon and galbijjim, dishes that embody the warmth of home cooking with a refined edge drawing locals and visitors alike. The naengmyeon was the star of my visit. The chewy noodles, paired with a tangy, refreshing broth, were perfectly balanced with thinly sliced beef and crisp vegetables. Itโ€™s a dish that exemplifies simplicity yet carries depth in flavor. The galbitang, with its rich, clear broth and tender beef, felt like a warm embrace on a chilly day. Each sip carried a comforting depth, highlighting the careful preparation behind this classic dish. The minimalist interior complements the focus on food, and the staff ensure a seamless dining experience. Another foodie hot spot if youโ€™re seeking a taste of authentic Korean flavors in a timeless setting. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €

Another foodie hot spot if youโ€™re seeking a taste of authentic Korean flavors in a timeless...

The ribs at this restaurant were amazing. It's a little hard to find but it is well worth the trek. There was no English menu but the waitress who served us knew a little of English and we managed to order galbi jjim and she asked if we wanted large to which we agreed to. If you're not sure how to eat it, i'd recommend cutting the rib up and dipping it in the sauce that is in the bottom of the bowl it comes in. I only realised this towards the end. When you're done with the ribs, ask them to add rice to the left over sauce and they'll take it away and put rice in the bowl then heat up the bowl so the rice soaks up all the sauce and gets a bit crispy. Show them my photo and they'll understand, I showed them a photo from someone's blog to get it. Great way to finish...
