Dosan Park (Dosan Neighborhood Park) was established to commemorate the great patriotic spirit of Dosan Ahn Chang-ho, who dedicated himself to the independence and autonomy of the Republic of Korea, and to uphold his educational philosophy for the enlightenment of the people as a model for the nation. Dosan Park houses the joint graves of Dosan Ahn Chang-ho and his wife, the Dosan Ahn Chang-ho Memorial Hall, a monument, a statue, a monument to his words, commemorative sculptures, and sports facilities. The park is spacious and features well-maintained walking trails. On November 10, 1973, the Seoul Metropolitan Government relocated Dosan‘s grave, which had been buried at Manguri Cemetery, to this location. At the same time, the remains of his wife, Lee Hye-ryeon, were transported from Los Angeles, California, USA, and interred here as well. To the left of the park entrance is the Dosan Gisang Monument. The local area to and from the park is still quite untidy with chaotic vehicle uses and behaviors where the municipality neglects its enforcement.
