Gonaengji — Restaurant in Seoul

Had such a good meal here. They served kimchi jigae stew and was very hearty especially on a cold day.

The restaurant seemed to be run by an older couple and many locals were eating here. We were the only non locals here.

We ordered kimchi jigae for 2 and it was served with rice and side dishes and gochujang sauce. They told us to mix it up so it becomes bibimbap. Also very tasty.

Highly recommend to eat if you’re visiting Ewha women Uni or around...

Friendly service, food is good and very affordable. We ordered the kimchi stew and omelette but it also came with rice, banchan and gochujang sauce. Would definitely recommend especially if you are in the area! Crowd made up of locals and menu is in Korean but pointing at the pictures...

Very affordable meal with huge portions! Had the kimchi soup with spam, sausages and tofu. Comes with rice and banchan where you can mix and make your own bibimbap. Also ordered the egg roll, which is at least 5cm thick!

Wonderful meal...
