I first heard about this restaurant on a TV show featuring top foods to try and we finally got to experience it ourselves on a family trip to Korea. It was one of the last places we ate before heading back, and it completely lived up to the hype—unlike so many places you see on TV. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, and the restaurant had a warm, lively atmosphere with everyone, from families like ours to friends and coworkers, all enjoying the food.
The rotisserie chicken was amazing: perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and a juicy, tender inside. The unique stuffing added a delicious kick that elevated the dish. It paired perfectly with the draft beer. The place is cozy, so you might need to wait for a table, but it’s truly worth it. One of the staff even joked that I should leave something so I can again enjoy chicken for my next visit the following day. I wished I could have, but we had to return home.
If you’re planning a visit, try to fit this restaurant in early during your trip—it’s a meal worth savoring...
Read more10s across the board! I’ve had rotisserie chicken before in Korea before! It’s definitely a second in Korea being over shadowed by the more popular fried chicken! However, I believe if more people tried this specific chicken they would change their mind. The skin in it’s own is a so juicy, crispy, and full of the natural oil of the chicken it’s hard to not eat with your hands! The size of the chicken was a nice amount and I ordered one for myself and one for my husband! Thankfully there was also a special treat on the inside! Some yummy seasoned rice! Reminded me of samgyetang! There’s lots of great foreign food in Itaewon/Hannam/HBC but this felt so authentically Korean that I’m eagerly awaiting the next time I can have it! Maybe I’ll try a take out? The service workers were very kind and even allowed me to a take a proper photo of the chicken cooking! Thanks again for the chicken! We’ll...
Read moreVery good roasted chicken cooked low and slow with what I believe is wood fire. The skin of the chicken was crispy and caramelised. The whole chicken was moist , even the chicken breast was moist. Inside the chicken was stuffed glutinous rice with ginseng , red dates and some herbs. Very very good. If you like samgeytang, I think you will enjoy this too. We only tried the original / traditional chicken as there were only two of us and we wanted a light dinner. We saw other tables eating other dishes and they did look very delicious. We waited for our table for 1 hour and I must say it’s worth the wait. Just leave your name / number on their waitlist and go for a walk around the area. You will be rewarded with a very good meal if you...
