LIVE MUSIC BAR BARTICAN — Restaurant in Seoul

Well... it is a good jazz bar with a fun design... Vatican, bartican, we all got it... still it looks a little bit old-fashioned decoration. That was not the problem however.

What i hate is to have a misleading service. We booked a table and we had no information whatsoever that it was mandatory to consume a bottle of wine or vodka or whiskey. Just to be clear, we spent 300,000; so buying a bottle is not a problem whatsoever; but we didn't want to HAVE TO buy a bottle, we were out for a cocktail night and we never were informed we needed to have a bottle... one of our friends is korean and she made the reservation...

That said, it felt like a slightly scam..

Other than that, yeah, public not educated talking so loud during the show, which is not fault of the bar... BUT the manager should tell people to keep it low specially when they ask for a cover pay for the show (on the top of the bottle...).

I can name a few bars with better service, better food, better price and better show... that said i would not go back unless i need to...

To be clear, nothing was particular bad besides the absolute lack of communication, service and no control over the crowd.

Definitely worth the visit. The number one bar in Songpa-gu area. The experienced bartender, Mr.Chang, made the whole experience special. It is not easy to find such an atmosphere in South Korea. Classic and comfortable and chill at...

I was asked how many people. I said one, and the staffs response was "sorry we don't have any seats". Which must be a complete lie, otherwise why would he ask me how many people....?...
