Magpie Brewshop (맥파이 브루샵) — Restaurant in Seoul

The beer here was alright I tried the porter. The service however was the worst I had ever received in Korea. First, after a couple of minutes after I ordered and received my beer I was pressured to sit somewhere else because a bigger group of customers came in so I just had to move seats and then there was this 20 year old looking kid with glasses and when I asked him if it was okay to film MYSELF, a selfie shot of me drinking the beer he said that it was not allowed. I was only allowed inside their establishement to take a picture or a video of the beer itself. Now that is absolutely crazy.

I would recommend for anyone that wants to have a good craft beer in this area to go to...

Seoul beer! I was pleasantly surprised with the hospitality and quality of beer here. Definitely a great spot to start a Seoul beer tour. I was able to sample a couple of their great beers. Which were fairly mild, and very drinkable. If you're planning on stopping at a couple breweries while visiting, this is a great spot to start. Great beer! Came here twice during my trip to Seoul last week. They open until late (if I'm not mistaken 1.30 am is their last order), and serve pizza at the basement site. Pizza was okay, the dough was somewhat lacking of texture yet cripy. If you like crispy almost like fried bread texture like, this might suit you well.
