I had a really interesting experience of touching meerkats but this one particular staff member was not friendly at all aka rude. I was trying to translate to my friend while she was speaking really fast in Korean. She looked frustrated when I asked her to repeat the instructions. I saw how she was offering snacks to other customers while they are interacting with the meerkats. We got none and spent 15 mins trying to get the meerkats’ attention.

These meerkats are very autonomous. Unless you have a lot of patience and time to wait for them to warm up to you I suggest you try another location. I think that the enclosement for the meerkats are too small giving the animals a lot of anxiety. I’ve been to other meerkat cafes where the animals are calm and playful because they have a lot of open room to roam. Still had a decent and positive experience.

There's no smell, the interior is very nice (and instagrammable if you will). Entrance fee is 10000 won (1 drink included), but if you share a picture of the cafe on FB or IG they give you a free entrance ticket for your next visit.
