I had a really interesting experience of touching meerkats but this one particular staff member was not friendly at all aka rude. I was trying to translate to my friend while she was speaking really fast in Korean. She looked frustrated when I asked her to repeat the instructions. I saw how she was offering snacks to other customers while they are interacting with the meerkats. We got none and spent 15 mins trying to get the meerkatsโ€™ attention.

These meerkats are very autonomous. Unless you have a lot of patience and time to wait for them to warm up to you I suggest you try another location. I think that the enclosement for the meerkats are too small giving the animals a lot of anxiety. Iโ€™ve been to other meerkat cafes where the animals are calm and playful because they have a lot of open room to roam. Still had a decent and positive experience.

There's no smell, the interior is very nice (and instagrammable if you will). Entrance fee is 10000 won (1 drink included), but if you share a picture of the cafe on FB or IG they give you a free entrance ticket for your next visit.
