Going to this place was an adventure. You needed to walk around 11 minutes from the bus stop to get there. Also, get ready for an uphill climb. There are a LOT of stairs going up. When we finally reached the village, I was disappointed to discover that there were only few murals left. I was looking forward to the mural on the stairs with fishes. Sadly it had been erased. Those stairs actually lead up to the museum but my friend and I were to tired to go up anymore. Still the murals I found were pretty. Read moreLOVED this area (including the very strenuous, but beautiful, hike up from the Hansung University Station (Exit 4). Supposedly this is an easier incline than starting at Hyehwa station. I can't imagine how difficult that walk would be compared to Hansung. But in any event it was glorious. I only encountered a handful of people on the trail leading up the mountain and likewise in the village. I can't imagine streams of tourists making it up here given the gazillion of stairs they would have to climb (my friend calls them the Korean stairmaster!). However, if you are healthy, without any major mobility issues, this is a wonderful spot to spend an hour or two exploring....
