I've heard a lot about this restaurant and it's been written about in various mediums but when I finally had a chance to eat there the food was lack luster and a bit disappointing. I most likely won't be going back. The food was cooked well, and our dinner included the full menu, but it was lacking in the seasoning that you would typically find in international foods. This food is tailored to Korean taste buds and I think that's part of what makes it less special.
The couscous was cooked well but lacked saltineess. The fishballs were very gamey and had a lot of fishiness. The lamb shank was well cooked but very gamey. The chicken was good overall but had very dry breasts sections. Between the carrot salad and tomato salad, the tomato wins for it's fresh flavor. The carrot salad had little going for it in terms of unique taste. The oven baked bread was undercooked. The overall best part of the dinner was probably the desserts.
The full course menu costs about 60,000 won per person but I definitely think it wasn't worth the money but if it's something exotic you would like to try then I'd advise sticking to the chicken and couscous. Other than that, it's more suitable as a cafe...
Read moreI was craving Moroccan food, and I saw this restaurant pop up. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. I ordered a few dishes since I was very excited. I ordered the lamb kefta tajine which was quite disappointing, it does not have that authentic taste I was looking for. It was very sour and salty which was very disappointing. I also ordered the lamb shank, the meat was okay it did not have the sweetness I was expecting it was on the salty side which was also disappointing. I was expecting it to have the sweetness like Lham bel barkouk. And the tea was a disaster, it was not traditional Moroccan mint tea. I was not sure what to make of the flavor like it was just water with sugar and no minty flavor to be detected. But hey even though all of the above dishes were very disappointing there was luckily a highlight which was the preserved lemon chicken tajine which was amazing! This was the only dish that really had that traditional taste...

Great find. We were greeted immediately and got our food ordered while the friendly proprietor made sure we had a table outdoors per our request.
We had chicken with rice and chicken tajine. Both were served in great time and both were delicious, with a flaky and yummy bread side. We had a nice white wine that paired very well with them.
If I had to do it over again, I would've gotten lamb just to give our choices a little more diversity. But no complaints. The food tasted great.
On our way out, the proprietor again graced us with time for a charming chat and we were on our way with happy palates and...
