Pizzeria Hokey Pokey — Restaurant in Seoul

Pizza is probably one of my favourite food's to eat and this pizza was some of the best that I've had in Seoul.

We ordered a half and half pizza with one half Italian bomb that had chorizo, pepperoni, jalapeño, mushrooms, garlic, pecerino romano cheese and mozzarella.

The other half was Kaboooom that was topped with pecerino romano cheese, chili flakes, fennel sausage, red onion, garlic and basil.

The Italian bomb was a great pizza with a nice tomato sauce base with plenty of ingredients being on the pizza. The chorizo was in nice chunks with that nice oily tastes of paprika, the nice saltiness from the pepperoni, the bite of jalapeño and the sweetness of the red onion really worked and made a good pizza.

The Kaboooom was also a good pizza and I was impressed buy the chunks of fennel sausage which was really good. The mixture of the sausage with chili and red onion worked really well with this pizza.

I liked the base and it was nice and crispy on the bottle and held the toppings on the pizza really well. The tomato sauce also needs a mention as it tasted well made and the flavours worked well with the toppings.

We ordered a side of buffalo wing's which had a finger licking sauce on them though the wing's were small but that's the standard size for wing's you can find.

I had a nice bourbon and coke and the ginger beer was also really good.

A great pizza restaurant as close to a good New York style pizza that you fan...

It was cool that I was the first diner at 17:00. I lurked around the area until they prepared for the dinner shift since I got there a bit earlier.

I thoroughly enjoyed the signature 치즈 cheese pizza (Margherita-style). It was the most similar to what I ate in the Almalfi Coast 🇮🇹 because of the dough/crust style. The first slice perfectly melted in my mouth. If you’re desiring an Italian-style pizza pie, then you’ll enjoy Pizzeria Hokey Pokey. Next time I’ll try another toppings combo with a friend/guest.

(Btw This was not NY style pizza that was stated on some other reviews. Don’t confuse the pizza styles because of certain topping combos that are very American… It’s very Napoletana/Neopolitan pizza...

If you're feeling like American style pizza and wings, this is the place. The pizza is on the thin side but crispy and the sauce is just right.

The wings are like the wings back home, the buffalo sauce flavor is the one we love and they're sauced perfectly.
