I'd heard about a nice burger spot in the Yongsan electronics market that also does BBQ. We originally planned to visit Seoul Kebab but they were sold out so when I saw this place turn up I thought why not!

The inside of the restaurant is HUGE! I mean there were 3 entrances from what I could tell and it was big enough to hold a lot of people but on a Wednesday even there were only a few tables occupied.

We ordered the smoked bacon set which came with fries and a choice of coleslaw or salsa so we opted to for coleslaw.

We also got the Boiler's heavy duty set with coleslaw and each meal came with fries.

Upon inspection both burgers looked the same apart from an extra patty on the heavy duty set and a few extra toppings for ₩5,000 more.

The burger comes in a nice bun which I think was a brioche bun which was soft and light. The toppings for the burger were the usual suspects of lettuce, American cheese, tomato, onion, some relish and jalapenos. The patty itself was like a smash burger and was a very basic tasting patty. I was expecting more flavour from a BBQ joint but there was no wow factor for me which was dissapointing. Another dissapointing thing was the bacon in the burger which looked like and tasted like the ham slice bacon you can buy at the supermarket. From other reviews on Mango Plate and Naver it looked like they had proper bacon where as what we had was nothing like proper smoked bacon you'd expect to find at a BBQ joint. I recently visited "About Jins" and they had some proper thick cut bacon but this didn't even come anywhere close.

I didn't get a chance to see what others were eating as the space is so big that everyone seemed to have their own section. I would have liked to have seen the BBQ there.

I've had better burgers elsewhere around Seoul and though it wasn't bad I won't be in a...

The Boilers basement restaurant is as other reviewers have said; it's spacious with about thirty tables for four. It looks like a perfect place for company gatherings and large groups.

We ordered the Smoked Bacon Burger set with coleslaw and fries along with the Dirty Rib set with house salsa and buns.

The burger was delicious but I was left a bit disappointed in the lack of smokiness of the bacon. That being said, I would come back and order it again. The coleslaw was nostalgically delicious like old school KFC coleslaw. Fries were classic and tasty.

The dirty ribs were disappointing. Although meaty, they were not slow cooked and tender. They were a bit tough to rip off the bone and the seasoning didn't penetrate through the rib. The house salsa was very good and had a lot cilantro/coriander.

Overall, I will go back but most likely for the burgers. I'd still like to try the pulled pork...

BEST barbecue in Korea. Period. I hardly leave reviews like this, but I had to in this case. The most delicious Texas ribs, pulled pork, and smash burgers I’ve ever had in my life. The taste and quality of the meat is the best you can find in Korea and is better than all of the barbecue places I’ve tried in America (I’ve been to a lot of places). Also, the restaurant has an unbelievable atmosphere and the vibes are amazing. The staff and service are top-notch and professional. Great place to go with friends, family, or even by yourself for barbecue, burgers, and drinks (would highly recommend the fries, buffalo wings, and fish and...
