Café Tortoise in Seoul is a charming spot, especially for mochi soufflé pancakes. The pancakes were freshly made, incredibly fluffy, and filled with delicious strawberry filling. The mochi dough added a unique texture that made them stand out.
A fun touch was the order buzzer hidden inside a turtle—such a cute and thoughtful detail. The café offers more seating upstairs, and each table has its own unique decoration, adding to the cozy and whimsical atmosphere.
Be aware that if you choose to walk there, it’s a bit of an uphill trek—think of it as a good pre-workout that makes the dessert feel even more well-deserved!
Beyond the delicious pancakes, it’s also a great spot for coffee and tea lovers, with a selection of drinks that perfectly complement the sweet treats. Overall, it’s a fantastic café for anyone looking for a cozy and memorable...

The mochi texture added a uniquely delicious chewiness, setting it apart from ordinary pancakes.
I had an iced tea which paired perfectly with the dessert—balanced, refreshing especially in summer.
I would definitely...
