Taffin — Local services in Seoul

Too bad, there isn't one like this in the U.S. It's just wheat isn't it? They make incredible stuff with flour. Only comparably good bakery was near Dijon, several years ago. We missed them in Lyon, but they popped up in Seoul! The apple (chausson au pomme) is fantastic - make sure you get one or take some home. Chocolate croissant, is very good too. Their sandwiches are very good. Coffee (not their focus), but also very very good - they sourced their coffee really well - in addition to their brewing. We travel often and make it a point to hunt down great food and bread wherever we go and Taffin absolutely blew us away. Every pastry, eclair, and sandwich we tried was delicious and beautifully made.

We’ve explored many top bakeries across Korea, and this one is firmly at the top of our list. Everything was solid- thoughtfully crafted, flavorful, and fresh. The espresso was spot on, too.
