A Sunset Experience Worth the Wait!

Visiting N Seoul Tower was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Seoul, though getting there tested my patience. The cable car line was brutal—I waited about 30 minutes just to buy tickets, and then stood in line for another hour to actually board the cable car. It wasn’t the most pleasant part of the experience, especially if you're short on time or visiting during peak hours.

That said, it was absolutely worth it. We made it to the top just in time for sunset, and the views were nothing short of breathtaking. Watching the city light up beneath a fading sky from that height was a moment I won’t forget.

Once you're up there, there's so much to do that you can easily spend hours exploring. The tower complex is full of restaurants and cafes with stunning views, art displays, photo booths, and tons of souvenir shops. One of the most charming parts is the Love Locks area—a colorful and romantic spot that adds a unique character to the visit.

If you're planning to go, just be ready for the wait (especially if you take the cable car), or consider other ways up like the shuttle or a hike if you’re feeling adventurous. But once you’re at the top, it’s an experience that’s totally worth it—a perfect mix of panoramic views, culture,...

N Seoul Tower, perched atop Namsan Mountain, offers what are arguably the most spectacular panoramic views of South Korea's capital, especially at night. Rising 480 meters above sea level, the 360-degree cityscape vista from the observation deck is breathtaking, clearly showcasing Seoul's enormous urban sprawl nestled among its surrounding mountains. The entire area at the base is a vibrant attraction, best known for the countless "Locks of Love"—a must-see for couples and a fun photo opportunity. Getting there via the Namsan Cable Car adds to the scenic experience. The downside is the sheer volume of people, which can make the observation decks feel overcrowded, and the cable car queue can be lengthy. While the views from the base area are fantastic and free, paying the admission to go up the tower is still highly recommended for the highest perspective. To avoid the biggest crowds, go in the morning or accept that sunset/night views will be extremely busy. A quintessential Seoul experience, even...

There is a big hall and also a traditional resting area. The people guarantee crowded up here. I guess there will be an event happening here as well. It is because I saw a lot of people were waiting and gathering in that area. I didn't see it, but I guarantee next time coming here again is a must. I was shocked when walking further inside. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants. I am seeing a lot of people are enjoying their foods. Put your sandwiches down at the convenience store and get up here; you can buy your favorite foods and enjoy the view at the same time. How great was that? There are stairs going up. You will see a lot of locks. I mean a lot. There is a machine that sells love locks. You can buy a lock and lock yourself with your fiancé or maybe lock yourself with your favorite foods. It was lovely. I have a wonderful experience in here. I am saying this place is fully recommended. For myself, 100% will come again in the future. I...
