후포식당 — Restaurant in Sokcho-si

I hesitated whether I should come here after reading some unfavorable reviews. But after reading more of mixed reviews I wanted to give it a try. When I got to the restaurant, they told me they ran out of ingredients and told me to come back for dinner. So, for dinner I arrived a bit earlier than usual not to miss my chance to eat! And good thing I did because the place was already packed!

I later found out, the owners receive fresh ingredients twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, based on the expected demand for the day. Once they run out of ingredients, they close up shop for the day.

Anyways, I've been to many delicious restaurants in Sokcho, but you gotta try this restaurant. All the food we ordered was amazing and the price was reasonable. And the restaurant mainly seemed to attract locals which is another great sign!

Despite various mixed reviews, please I don't make the mistake of not coming here based on those. Also, remember that whether it's lunch or dinner, def come a bit earlier to enjoy a meal before they run out of...
