When traveling to a place near the ocean, you might feel obligated to try various types of seafood. However, just when you're craving a change in your palate (I desperately needed a change, lol), this is the place to go. Jajangmyeon (black bean sauce noodles) and jjamppong (Chinese-style Korean spicy noodle soup) are like soul food for Koreans, and finding an authentic version can be challenging. We ordered both the famous jajangmyeon and jjamppong, along with sweet and sour pork. The fried dumplings were on the house.
In conclusion, a five-star experience! We heard that the owner actually makes the noodles from scratch, resulting in an extra chewy texture. The sweet and sour pork was quite special due to its white sauce. In contrast to the typical sweet and sour pork dishes that usually have a sauce turning slightly pinkish from mixing in ketchup, this one was different. The sauce remained truly white, and the flavor was wonderfully delicate and delicious.
