Goiko — Restaurant in A Coruña

Goiko is definitely an experience to try if you are a burger lover. Their most popular is the 'Kevin Bacon'. On this occasion, I tried 'La Kiki' - crispy chicken, bacon, cheese and their 50 Burger Sauce. Overall, nice but the burger would benefit more if the cheese was melted. It was a shame that the cheese was a bit like plastic. You want that melted feel over the crispy chicken. Furthermore, the fries has good flavour but they overcooked, making them dry. OJO con pedir el Menú GOIKO, que te la pueden intentar colar

Fuimos a comer en pareja. Yo pedía una hamburguesa Kevin Bacon y una caña. Mi pareja pidió el Menú Goiko (del día) llamado EL DE SIEMPRE. Hay dos opciones:

EL DE SIEMPRE: Bebida + Burger del día + Postre "DE MENÚ" o café. 12,9€ EL BASICO: Bebida + Burger del día + MiniFrozen o café. 11,6€

De bebia ella pidió un Tostada sin alcohol, nos la traen sin decirnos nada especial. La Hamburguesa del día normal, sabe bien, hyper calórica, pero nada que ver con lo que puedes comer en La Pepita o el Carnivale.

De postre se pide un Goiko Cookie y yo nada, igual, nos lo traen sin decirnos nada. Después de comer nos preguntan si queremos postre o café (esto ya me suena raro). Decimos que ya está y pedimos la cuenta.

Cuando nos la traen nos cobran la tostada sin alcohol y el postre aparte. Cuando le preguntamos nos dicen que esa bebida no entra dentro del menú del día (cosa que no se nos informó cuando pedimos), sino que metieron mi caña en el menú y que el Gokio Cookie tampoco esta incluído en el menú, porque el menú solo incluye el Minifrozen. Cuando la carta claramente dice que es el menú básico el que solo incluye MiniFrozen, mientras que el de siempre, que es el que a mí me están cobrando, incluye ¡¡¡¡¡¡POSTRE DE MENÚ!!!!!! Se lo comento a la chica (la misma a la que le pedimos el menú al principio y que no nos informó de que lo que pedíamos estaba en el menú) y le muestro la carta, pero me insiste en que no, que el menú no incluye el postre que nosotros comimos.

Es un timo. Habiendo tanto buen sitio para comer en La Coruña, no sé a cuento de qué me dejé convencer para comer allí. No...

The food is incredible. Also they think of everything if you get takeout. They include napkins, wet wipes and also a candy to get rid of any unwanted aftertaste. I really like the concept of the menu aswell. The prices are not too high but also not low, with 10 to 20 Euro per burger. But I have to say, that it is definately worth it.
