I came across this place in a travel blog and what can I say it didn't disappoint!! Clearly a place the locals flock to as lots of people on their lunch breaks.. We decided to do the English thing and order pretty much everything on the menu and I'm so delighted we did! We spent €20 which included more small dishes then a pregnant woman with twins and her athlete husband could manage a pint of beer and a coke zero. My god the meat balls, squid and ham croquettes were insanely good, not ti mention the chorizo! Forget tapas in the UK this was another level. Super friendly and helpful staff which added to the experience... Honestly this place was amazing Toilets in the back which is easily accessible

Nos lo recomendó un chico que trabajaba en Abanca cuando fuimos a sacar la tarjeta stransporte. Fuimos a tapear y comimos de lujo, tanto es así, que el último día para irnos al aeropuerto, volvimos a repetir, antes de volver a Almería. -El caldo gallego a mi madre le encanto, estaba riquísimo. -La fabada que yo me comí estaba de muerte, como yo las recordaba, cuando viví en santander. -La carne guisada estaba super tierna y calentita, le faltaba un poquitin de sal, pero eso no es nada malo, le pedí un poco de sal y listo. Así mucho mejor para las personas que tienen tensión alta, ejemplo, con mi madre, que para ella estaba perfecta. -Los calamares y la milanesa si estaban un poco fríos, pero es normal, estaban hechos del día y no van a estar friendo una tapa para ti en el momento. Harán bandejas del tirón y las sacan, pero tenían un sabor exquisito. Vamos que cuando vuelva, si o si, vuelvo a pasarme por el bar a comer unas buenas tapas. Por 1,50 € las tapa que quieres. Los dos días que estuvimos, comimos por 10€ dos persona, bebida y comida. Gracias por todo a los chicos y la chica que nos atendieron, fueron muy amables, volveremos.

Your must go in A Coruña for a quick informal bite on your tapas night. It’s simple, it’s traditional, it’s quick and the best to immerse yourself in the Galician culture. You go there for their tortilla and homemade croquetas. You would probably eat standing up while talking to people around you while drinking a 1906 beer. Very affordable and tasty.

Sitio para tomar algo y unas tapas cada vez menos variedad y más caras pero dentro de lo que ahí casi mejor la galera muy cerca más variedad y de precio igual hoy repetimos la estafa de la bombilla cada día peor es agosto y se aprovechan de si fama para estafar a los turistas tapa de calamares muy escasa tapa de carne guisada lo mismo y precios cada vez peor calidad precio tenéis un local al lado galera k que tiene mucha mejor atención y tapas y precios calidad precio muy recomendable comparado a la bombilla que delante nuestra sirvió un vino caro y le puso ni un dedo altura muy escaso vamos la clienta le reclamo y le dijo que estaba perfecto y que prefería ni vendérselo y la clienta se fue sin tomar nada muy mal no fatal la fama la provecho de más desta no volvemos y somos clientes de muchos años antes de que lo cojieran estos nuevos propietarios un 0 para la bombilla

No frills spot that seems to be an institution in A Coruna. What might be lacking in decor and presentation, is made up for with the taste of the food! I had the tortilla, albóndiga, and milanesa and all three were tasty and only 1.5 euros! Great value for everything here.
