It's like a fancy fast food place. Before I even sat down, the server asked me what I wanted to eat without giving me a chance to look at the menu. We were sitting in a back section and her and a male server looked pissed off the whole night. The blonde server didn't give us plates and we were using the small bar napkins to eat octopus. When we finally flagged down the male server, he rolled his eyes at us before asking what we needed. I don't understand why they work there if they're so unhappy. Also this restaurant really needs a supervisor to keep track of their bad servers.

There was a darker skinned server in our area that was the only positive mood there. She was doing the work and cleanup of the other servers while making customers laugh and smile. She deserves...

Highly recommendable!

Accidentally, while walking the city passed by (start of Spanish lunch time 14:00). Large light place. I was solo. Still, the waiter was very friendly and attentive.

I had a full “ration” (portion) of deep fried calamari: tender and perfectly fried, the tempura was crispy until the last piece (normally it gets soggy). Of the best I ever had. I had a “tapa” of pulpo (octopus): good size, tender and well seasoned (salt and paprika) Galician style. The bread was very good. It is placed without asking 0,9€), ask to remove if not wanted, but it fits well the food.

I spent less than 15€, including...

We had some of the best seafood of our lives here at this pulperia. we got: Pulpo | Octopus (€16), Pulpo con cachelos |Octopus with potatoes (€17.9), ½ Pimiento | Peppers (€7), ½ raxo con patatas | Pork loin with fries (€6), ½ calamares | calamari (€5.5). Such amazing local produce where the freshness speaks for itself. The preparation is straightforward but reflects an expert understanding of the ingredients and flavours. Everything we had was super hot, fresh and delicious.

I came little after lunch service on a Saturday and the servers seems a little rushed off their feet and flustered. Then again, all I ordered was a cup of red wine and some cachelos (boiled potatoes marinated in olive oil and paprika, without the octopus). The decor is nice, but the cachelos (a relatively simple dish, I thought) took a while to come.
