This place is fantastic. Right from the start, the staff made us feel welcome—we had a great chat and started off with some Indian Cobra Beer, which was pretty decent.
For the food, I had the Dhansak curry and my girlfriend went for the Mango curry. Both dishes were excellent. Even though I’m not usually a fan of mango, I could tell her curry was really well made. We also shared two naans—garlic and onion—which were light in flavor and paired perfectly with the curries. Alongside that, we ordered one portion of rice.

The balti tasted of thick tomato sauce and nothing like the madras heat we were promised. I'm guessing they don't have a tandoori oven either.
I remember the food here was so good 6 years ago when it was upstairs. Its OK but...
