We had a lovely day down at the beach. This is a fairly quiet beach, so great if you want to get away from the crowds. Free parking just up the road and the path down is easy. There are free parasols which is great but no sunbeds. This is a lava rock sand/pebble beach, so recommend water shoes or sandals. The sea was very rough when we visited which apparently is unusual for that area but meant no swimming, it was still great to watch. There is a shower and amazing restaurants right on the beach. Highly...
Read moreThe small beach area is surrounded by cliffs, its a small beach area with very dark sand. There are no sandy beaches nearby as an alternative unless you travel nearer to...
Read moreQuiet beach resort with fine black sand. The are sunbeds for hire. We have eaten at the Ajabo restaurant and choose from their steak display which was ok. Can remember exactly what the food experience was like, as there was the fight to keep the flies away from our food as is was sort of open space . If u were passing by and needed the toilet there was a .50 cent fee. Not to be put off, the coastal walk is worth doing. The pathways are wheel friendly with a portion of gravel pathway from this beach up to the banana plantation area then it is smooth pathways for as far as...
