Food was really really nice! Service was rubbish! We turned up and was welcomed to our table, there was 1 other table on in the restaurant as we were eating early and we still waited for a good 15/20 mins before anyone came to us we had grabbed our own menus in this time as didn’t want to wait any longer to decide what we were having. We ordered drinks and food at the same time (usually drinks would be ordered first then we could have some time to decide what we were eating but seeing as how long we waited for anyone to come over we ordered at the same time). Then another good while passed by, we saw our drinks made up on the bar but no one brought them over, starters turned up on our table but still no one brought the drinks over. It got to point of me getting up and asking could we have our drink as we didn’t want to start food without them! Anyway food came and it was really nice but then the waiter then came over and handed us a drinks that the other table had ordered which kind of unnecessary interrupted our conversation which I wasn’t too fussed about but then they and the end put it on our bill! So to summarise, great food but service...

Making a booking was a challenge as they ignored both my email and a Facebook message, in the end we resorted to walking by to do this.
The menu is all online at https://laparma.restaurant, with great photographs of each dish, plus a paper-based specials list in Spanish and English, and a paper wine/drinks list. The waiter was extremely helpful with a dietary allergy.
For starters four of us shared bruschetta, baked Camembert and burrata tomato salad - all were excellent.
For mains we had two fish dishes and two veal. The fish was fabulously fresh and both very tasty, the veal dishes were both excellent and cooked as requested, each accompanied with great vegetables.
For puddings we shared a cheesecake, which was good, but the chocolate fondant was the better choice.
Wines were a little challenging, with just five white and five red, two of the latter unavailable, we felt this was the weakest link in an otherwise...
Read moreWHERE DO I START? I visited this restaurant 2 years ago when it first opened and although the food was adequate, I was appalled by the service and swore I would never go back.
However, after explaining this to the manager on the way out, I realised that the staff were all Ukrainian and they were trying to make an honest living outside the War and had just arrived in Country and been given some kind of grant or helping hand from the Spanish government to set up and get started.
So, giving them the benefit of the doubt, I went back this year with my grand-children for the final meal of our holiday and I was astonished to discover NOTHING HAD CHANGED.
Although the food is good, the whole experience and customer service is absolutely horrendous and nothing had been learnt over the last two years. It ruined my family’s whole evening.
This restaurant simply cannot handle the footfall and the service and customers suffer. I will never go back and I would advise anyone to avoid this restaurant...
