This place is very popular and busy and fully booked almost every night, they have several locations, so make sure you chose the one close to you and you make a reservation. We had a good time here, and the food was pretty good but very expensive. It is a steakhouse, so we expected high prices, but we paid 60 eurfor the ribeye and 50 euros for the tenderloin. The tuna tartar app was 19 euros. Wines are well priced at around 5 euros per glass and up. As far as the quality, the steak was good, but not 60 euros good. The tenderloin was unevenly cooked, surprising rare in the middle and not as tender as expected for a 50 euro angus prime steak. The Ribeye was even more disappointing, it was full of silver skin and strangely tough for such an expensive steak. They are not prime angus, i can guarantee you that. The whole experience was pleasant, the service was good and the staff friendly. I am judging the food harshly based on the price. If this steak was 30 euros i would give a 10/10, but at 60 euros it gets a 7/10. The entire place gets a 4 star review and i hope I made it clear why, we liked it, but would not return because of the food quality/price ratio. You are charging Michelin star prices for average steak. PS: The location is very nice, and if you come for an early dinner (around 6 PM), you get a nice sunset.
Later edit: after eating in other steak houses around the island, i downgraded my review to 2 stars, this place is pretty much a scam at...
Read moreOn an expensive side but worth every penny. Food was delicious cooked to perfection with a twist and new interasting flavours. The mixologist is an artist. He created an oyster water gin and tonic which was paired with a tempura oyster nigiri as an aperitif. It was superb! We started with grilled octopus which is a main dish (it was delicious) but there was no problem making it a starter. Following by melt in your mouth staek. We tried ribeye, flank and Angus filet. It was Amazing. My friends loved the confit duck leg and the pork iberico secreto. Flavour and texture was great. Last one was a lamb shoulder that probably should be eaten with a spoon to make it easier. Tender beyond believe. I'm sure i could choose any dish on the menu with my eyes closed and I wouldn't be disappointed. Service was fantastic too. Waiters are well informed and proud of their food. On point with water and wine and not in your face but just on a side if you need them. I already mentioned the mixologist he is passionate and keen to share his knowledge. Amassing guy. I didn't meet the kitchen staff but I can tell you that they were quick and generous and cooked with their heart. I can't say enough that the Food was absolutely delicious! Very happy with this experience. Thank you people at steak 21 Sea View. I wish you all the success...
Read moreWe wanted a special place to go to for our first refreshments and meal of our long awaited holiday to Tenerife.
We found it.
As we were looking around a number of restaurants, this one appeared in a good location, well laid out, clean and fresh.
But it was the welcome we got from Lorenzo which really swung it. It's rare to meet someone with so much passion for what they do and how they do it.
He was extremely helpful and happy, so we knew we would enjoy a nice family meal there.
When we arrived back we were again welcomed by Lorenzo and after asking for my favourite cocktail, Mojito I was recommended to try a different creation called a Chartreusito which replaces a couple of key ingredients, one being soda water for ginger beer for a kick. I'm always happy to trust people's experience in their specialist field and having tried this I can tell you it won't be the last time.
All of the staff we interacted with were very professional, helpful and happy.
The kitchen is open so you can see your food prepared
It's a fine dining experience they go for but with food you usually get what you pay for. Ours was absolutely...
