It is essential to know how thinly to cut the fish, which part, in what direction and how each would taste when it’s cut in a certain way. Although sushi seems like a simple dish, it's not often you find a place that balances the right amounts of fish to rice and condiments, but this place nails it. The other dishes I tried, namely the tempura, the wagyu sashimi and the gyozas we're also spectacular.

The service was top notch as well, timing the dishes perfectly so they don't pile up on your table and giving you time to enjoy everything, all while keeping a friendly and very kind attitude.

We've been looking for excellent sushi restaurant and have tried various places in Tenerife- including reputable ones in Santa Cruz... We were very impressed with this find. Unlike many other Sushi restaurants in Tenerife, at El Rincon del Sushi, you will find the Chef who Knows the Art of Sushi and that makes the world of difference!
