Ok, I've seen the nasty answers from the owners. Not nice... Honest review here. We were looking for a place to eat good fish so we followed the relatively good reviews. Didn't go to Ragu despite food reviews because it looked overpriced. Dedo de dios was closed due to private party. Ended up here trying to get something at least decent to eat. Ordered "parrillada" thinking it would be "a la parrila" but it was just fried fish. Portion was decent and we were surprised. Yet, the taste was not good. 2 fish were overdone and almost sure frozen fish. The other 2 tasted off, like mouldy very old fish. The fish fillet was not fresh either but whatever taste was covered by the old oil taste of the grill. Ordered house red wine. Was very cold and looked diluted. The bread with mojos was brought and we didn't ask for it. We asked waitress to remove it from bill. She was a bit angry about it but accepted.

Food aftertaste is bad. Location is nice. All the rest not good. Glass bottle coke zero was ok 😅 This seems to be a local problem of all restaurants around. Very nice port. Serving of frozen badly cooked...

A waitress was too eager to throw me in when I was passing by. That's not good manners. But I decided to eat there because the prices were reasonable. But now I know the food was not quite worth it.

I ordered sardines (11€) and asked if they come with potatoes. The answer was yes, and they really came with potatoes, exactly two small potatoes. The sardines were dry and tasteless. There was no sauce whatsoever, just a wedge of lemon.

I ordered a bottle of beer and instead got a big glass of beer, more expensive. A waiter came to bring bread to the table and asked if I want this bread. I asked if it's included in the price. Was not. I'm happy I didn't get fooled.

Pluses: In the end they brought a shot of very nice liquor, included. The toilet was nice and clean. The waiters were nice and friendly and tried their best while being very busy. One young waiter spoke good English. The foods in the next table looked delicious, so I may just have made a wrong decision...

the service here is a pure mess. they have about 10 waiters for 5 customers, still the waiters manage to be rather overwhelmed, incompetent and in some cases rude. the waiters have a rather intransparent split that one half serves food, the other drinks, so each side refuses to take the other's orders. the fellow that takes the drink orders seems to be his best customer, cheers to you mate. the food is boring and bland, seemingly the kitchen has yet to figure out that dishes can be prepared with spices and herbs. the best part really is the two mojo sauces starters, unfortunately they are served with the cheapest buns the restaurant could find. also, don't order anything off menue as they will likely charge astronomic prices. always check...

Wonderful restaurant with fresh seafood. I visited with a friend who lives in Agaete and had a great lunch. The restaurant does not accept reservations. The best way to have a table is go there early. There are many waiters and all staff was such friendly. We ordered some beer, a mixed seafood grill (minimum for two people) and baby squids. All food was excellent and as the waiters are very professional (and I guess kitchen staff are professional too), the food was served very quickly and delicious. Fish are very fresh and simply cooked. We like the taste very much. After the payment, we noticed that the bill was overcharged. As soon as the floor manager checked the bill, he balanced the charge. High recommended (but check the bill before you pay)!

First, for the waitress with blonde hair and staring eyes, please show some respect to your guests, ok???!!!!!! What you behaved was so uncivil and disgusting. Yes, I do not understand Spanish, but I’m multilingual and I’m here to consume your service. Don’t act like the customers own you something. Don’t kinda throw cappuccino on the table. Don’t urge your guests impatiently. Don’t act like a guy with no manner. Except for that, others were indeed good. Two lovely and kind service gentlemen, fresh seafood with various choices, and quick service. Three meals, two drinks, one snack for 40 euros. I would give a five star without that unpleasant experience.

The restaurant has a fantastic location right on the front line of Playa de las Nieves, offering great views. Most of the seating is outside, which adds to the atmosphere, but the tables weren’t very comfortable. The menu is available in different languages, which is helpful, but the service was just okay—nothing particularly memorable. The food was a bit average, though the portions were generous, and the beer was decent. Overall, it’s a good spot if you’re looking to enjoy the scenery while grabbing a bite, but don’t expect anything extraordinary. The views are definitely the highlight!
