I sat down in this restaurant because of the fact it was one of the few places on the busy boulevard of Puerto de las Nieves that still had some tables available at lunch time. That should have been a red flag... nevertheless, I ordered a fish soup and a seafood spaghetti. The food itself was not bad, but: I got a shellfish soup instead of the fish soup the seafood spaghetti had almost the same ingredients as the fish soup I tried not to bother too much and to enjoy the lovely views. Once my main course arrived, I noticed that the edges of my plate were dirty (black stains), and my table was suddenly infested with flies. This, of course, did not help the overall experience. On several occasions, I tried to get the attention of the main waiter / owner with the captains hat. He did see me waving and raising my hand, but he bluntly ignored me, preferring to clear other tables. This is not only bad service, but downright impolite and a sign of bad manners. The woman working in this place however tried her best, but looked overworked and stressed - no wonder, because she is the only one helping out customers with questions. The restaurants next door looked nicer, with smiling and happy waiters - the Canarian hospitality I'm used to. I'm afraid this place will not be around for much longer; a pity really, because with the right business mindset, lovely Puerto de las Nieves offers huge potential for...

We arrived late after 10pm, but waiter assured that it is not a problem and that they will make us a diner. We request Papas arrugadas and vegetarian paella. The waiter brought papas first (approc. 30 minutes ) and then advised that it is not possible to make vegetarian paella and came for a cook who suggested grill vegetables instead. We agreed. Well papas were the worst I have ever had and grill vegetable looked and taste as a 5 minutes thing on a pan in a rush. When we started to eat they started packing and cleaning metal chairs and tables from the terrace we were sitting on which as you can imagine made incredible noise. And the end? They ripped us off... they asked 20 euro for the grill vegetables as it was instead of the paella.. I had to laugh to this now.. but if I was you I would avoid this place for sure.. when they cannot make even papas properly there have to be something wrong...

I don‘t eat fish but wanted to spoil my wife. Ordered a burger and the waiter told me they make their own Angus patty. Alas, what I got was some pinkish stuff, no, two of these whatever it was, a dry bun and something that looked like a piece of plastic or something they picked up at the beach on top of the patty. Guess that was supposed to be the cheese. I have never eaten more demoralizing burger in my whole life and that includes the one I had in Thailand at 4 in the morning. So stick to the fish or else your belly will be...

Good food and fast service , i ordered a 1/2 portion sardines and my husband garlic shrimp . The Walter Captain brought a Mojo and he was so service minded . When I asked if the mojo had any dairy he immediately ask me if the sardines could be fried with flour . I am gluten intolerant and this saved my day ! Besides the toilet for the customers was so clean. - It makes the difference!
