A warm haven in the heart of Albacete
While traveling alone in Albacete, I faced rejection from two restaurants just because I was a solo diner and didn't speak fluent Spanish. I felt a bit disheartened — but then I found Tapería La Lola, and everything changed.
Two young waitresses welcomed me with such warmth and sincerity, even though we didn’t speak the same language fluently. They made the effort to communicate and help me feel comfortable. I was truly grateful for their kindness.
The tapas were delicious — flavorful, warm, and served with care. I ordered pork with potatoes and a small potato salad, plus a few drinks. It wasn’t just about the food; it was about how I was treated — with respect and a smile.
Albacete may be a small town, and you don’t often see many Asian solo travelers here, but this little tapas bar made me feel welcome and safe. I wouldn’t have visited Albacete if not for a business trip to Bodegas Bleda, but this experience made my visit memorable.
