decided to visit this place because of the many positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. What I tried: • The flat white with oat milk was sourish — most likely because of the beans. • The freshly squeezed orange juice was mediocre, lacking the bright and rich flavor you would normally expect from fresh oranges. • The apple crumble was overly sweet, and the dough was dense rather than crumbly. • The banana bread was so dense it felt chewy, almost like gum. • The chicken and onion empanada turned out to be the most disappointing — after eating it, I felt unwell and had stomach pain. The atmosphere was also underwhelming: the café is located right by the road, so it’s noisy. The interior lacks coziness — no real plants, only plastic ones. L’Epicerie Bakery & Specialty Coffee completely won us over—what a gem! From the moment we walked in, the cozy charm and delicious aroma of freshly baked goods set the tone for a perfect morning.
The coffee was exceptional—rich, smooth, and expertly made. We tried a flat white and an espresso, both full of depth and flavor. But the true highlight was the pastry selection: buttery croissants, beautiful tarts, and flaky treats that were clearly made with care. Every bite felt like a little moment of joy.
The staff were warm and welcoming, and the attention to detail in both the food and atmosphere made it feel like a place we could return to again and again. Whether you’re stopping in for a quiet morning or grabbing something to go, this bakery is a must-visit for any coffee or pastry lover...

While lattes and cappuccinos are hard to find in Mallorcaa, iced lattes in particular are especially difficult to find, so I was excited to find L’Epicerie, a French-owned and run bakery and speciality coffee spot when staying near Alcudia.
The coffee prices are fantastic (€2-3 for most drinks) and the drinks themselves are delicious. I tried an iced latte and hot latte and both were great!
Service is good, staff are friendly and staff seem to be well trained baristas, which is what made the coffee here so much better than anywhere else I tried nearby.
One negative - there is no bathroom on site which is quite strange and pretty unheard of for any cafe or restaurant. There is a bathroom in the adjacent Eroski, but still, I think a bathroom in the cage itself should...
