Playero — Restaurant in Alcúdia

We reserved this spot for a celebration with around 60 people. One table happened to be served well, the other two were considerably neglected. One of the tables even had to have dinner without drinks because the glasses - even after various requests - had not been served. One of the guests got pretty annoyed and expressed that to the people in charge. What happened afterwards was incredible to say the least. Three waitresses and the lady in charge went back to this person yelling and screaming with all sorts of threats in front of everybody. Quite immature, unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour vis-a-vis the hosts of the party who could have easily sorted it out bilaterally. There was no apology or whatsoever for this dramatic...

Went there in the morning, got very quick our order of drinks, nice waiter, fast serving, left there in good mood and also left 10% tip on a 30 euro bill to the waitress that came with the bill (another than the gentlemen that served us). Came back in the afternoon for food. Same waitress ignored us, did not cleaned our table, did not took our order. Other 2 waiters ignored us for the next 20 minutes but cleaned other empty tables and served and billed the other 4 busy tables…Not sure what happened with them from morning to afternoon, but decided to leave and not come back….And also leave this review with the hope that they will improve for other customers…For us it is clear that they are not interested to keep us...

We've been coming to this beach bar since 2017 and it was our go to whenever we visited Alcudia. However this year it wasn't great. The service was shocking to the point we had to leave after sitting for 15 minutes and being acknowledged by the waiter 5 times for him to give us the most filthy look. It wasn't busy he was collecting glasses like he had no one to serve.

We returned one lunchtime after a boat trip and decided to give it another go, its been a favourite for years. The food arrived very quickly and it was tasty but again the service wasn't brilliant. Inattentive waiting staff. Flirting with girls from the beach ordering take out.
