Resturante Chino lago buffet libre — Restaurant in Alcúdia

We went here in summer because in the winter everything was fine. But summer 2022: Some of the food we had to spit out because it already went bad. (We were close to call the food inspection.) Most of the poor choice for the menue is of very poor quality, a ton of glutamate, nearly everything deep fried and old chicken sticks are recycled as “sushi”. The “sushi” here has nothing to do with fish either - the most close to fish you can get is surimi. We recommend to smell on the food before trying it...or to be honest not come here at all. Last time we came here 🤮 also: when i confronted the owner with the food went bad she had all kind of excuses but never said that she is sorry or offered real food from the card as compensation fo the bad “food” offered...

Ok, I live locally and sometimes you REALLY miss a good UK style Chinese. I have searched high and low in Mallorca for somewhere that does good quality Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls... It's here. Big, thick pieces of succulent chicken in thick batter and sweet and sour sauce is just to die for and I literally come here just for that.

Then you've got the famous red coloured spare ribs that I can't find anywhere else and also Salt and Pepper Chicken. Then there's Peking Duck and all sorts of other things too.

There's two buffets in Alcudia and this is the better of the two. Things were being constantly added to and piping hot was just delicious.

People, stop being picky, it's a buffet. I think people have too high expectations and that's not...

Our kids wanted sushi and this place included it as part of the buffet so we went in even though €19 seemed a lot considering we weren't that hungry. Honestly we both left saying this was easily one of the worst Chinese buffets we'd been to. My husband who normally makes 3 or 4 trips up couldn't even face a second round! The duck pancakes and hoisin sauce had ran out and weren't restocked, the duck itself was all fat and tasted more like pork. The sushi was not ar all tasty and chewy abmnd there was no crispy seaweed! The best thing I had was the cucumber and melon! Sorry but would not recommend. Service was great but food...
