Poor service, not listening to guests. First thing I said was about the fan that was on maximum blowing directly torwards our table, the guy said: "I'll ask the boss" and notnig happened 10-15 minutes so I ajusted the speed and direction of it. 4 diferent people approach us from drinks to get us the receipt. The food was not adequately cooked. Told the first person that came to our table (20 min efter we got the food) My Burger was about to be served table next to ours, to people that came just few minutes before waiter asked them WHO ordered the Burger, then went out to the other side of restaurang and asked few more tables same thing. Efter asked for receipt we waited 10 minutes. I decided to pay with CC, in other words no tip. On the way out owner asked how it was, trying to be nice thanking us in Swedish language but I said it could be better. Didn't want to go into details but she was persistant and I told her that my wife's meal wasn't good enough. When asked if we got anoter dish I said no, 'couse nobody cared to ask. She went and get cash from the register but I said no - I paid for this experience and didn't want any refund. She gave my kid the money but I took it and left it on the first available table. So yes, I understand her, I use to have a restorant, I know what satisfied customer means to a owner but no, I was definitely not. She made a scene, in front of guests. Later on my wife asked why I didnt take the refund - she didn't deserve it. Heavens I swear one day I will fly back to Mallorca just to eat their food again. First thing first, definitely book a table beforehand! Went there two days in a row and would’ve gone more but they were closed during two days of our visit :(. The staff was very friendly, helpful, attentive and fun. Lowkey felt like when you visit your beat friend’s house where you are just accepted🥹Now to the food - one of my friends is celiatic and here they have a whole separate gluten free menu, which contains basically everything, even a gluten-free brownie that tasted ridiculously good. It was warm, crunchy on the outside and super soft on the inside. The cheesecake was light, not heavy and dense like most I’ve tried which some might prefer some not, personally- loved that. Applepie - again warm sweetness, cinamonny, was and crunchy at the same time just🥰 The first night I got the chilli con carne. Simple but so tasty, I couldn’t stop thinking about it and almost ordered two dishes the second day (despite almost dying because we ordered it “as spicy as possible”) Thankfully for my wallet I had some self control and ordered just one dish the next day - spicy prawn tagliatelle, it was light, fresh and for me not spicy at all. The cajun chicken?? Illegal. The amount of mindblowingly sexy meat on the plate? all covered in divine seasoning, not dry, with a side of fresh salad and fries. Me and the wife are in an all inclusive hotel, bit tired of the food after 8 days we decided to go for a wander to get something different, so glad we did. Smiths is excellent. When we got there it was packed out but we were seated straight away, the staff are friendly and were running round like mad men/woman but we were given menus straight away, our drinks were brought straight to us while we looked at the menu (what a choice!).we went with a shared bruschetta to start then I went with the spicy prawn tagliatelle and the wife had salmon spinach pasta. Wow, wish I had taken some photos but it all looked so good we couldn't wait to dig in. It was beautifully cooked, seasoned, and the tastiest thing we had eaten in a long time. To be honest we didn't look at the prices when we ordered so when the bill came we were a bit anxious, we needn't have been, €61 for 3 large beers, very very cold beers. 1 cider and 1 frozen cocktail. A starter and 2 mains of that quality was an absolute steal. I really wanted to speak to the owner but didn't ask as they were so busy, so if you are the owner of smiths and you read these reviews then your staff are a credit to your business, your food is exceptional and your prices are more than acceptable.
