🇺🇸 Are you a lover of fondue? if so, at the Chalet Suizo you'll find different variaties like cheese, meat, chocolate and even a chinese fondue. The place is cozy, with a lot of space, great views and a big terrace outside, which is a great option with the spring weather. It has free parking, I wouldn't recommend to go there by public transportation since it's not well connected. Weelchair-accessibility is complicated, from the parking to the entrance there's a small slope #a11y. The food is delicious, you can also find here raclette cheese, salads, sweets and good wines. We were a party of 2 and ate for 75€: a meat fondue, goat cheese salad, a bottle of wine, two apple strudles and coffee. It's good idea to call first for a reservation, but depending on the day, we have been able to find a table...
Read moreI'm a big fan of this place as someone who visits Switzerland several times per year. You actually get a view of some of the mountains surrounding Madrid. They certainly do not compare with the Alps, yet somehow make the experience that much more authentic. There are some interesting fusion items on the menu that join Spanish cuisine with that of Switzerland, but in general...completely legit Swiss dining experience. You can even find some Swiss beer available upon request. The raclette is of the gods....if you're into that...
Read moreThere was a presentation that was closed with a catering. One could argue that the drink selection is based on what was contracted, so I won't comment on that. The food was deplorable for what was paid. Microscopic pieces of omelette, croquettes and melted cheese were served too late, when we all had finished our first drink (some people the second). More than 15 to 20 minutes between successive dishes. A real shame for what this circle is expected to represent. * DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. BOOK SPACE IN A HOTEL...
