La Albufera Moraleja — Restaurant in Alcobendas

This place used to be really good, but the quality of the food, the chef and the staff has decreased significantly. Their paellas are not that good anymore. And even the waiters don't really care about the customers. I've been there this last weekend, and ordered a little more food that we needed just to take away the leftovers for the week. I asked the waiter that helped us to please keep our leftovers. He said yes, no problem, we will give you your leftovers before you leave. After we had our paella (by the way, it was tasteless) and were about to leave, we asked for the left overs and the waiter said that they threw it away, which honestly it was a relief (it was a bad paella), but we still paid for it and we had the right to take away the leftovers. That was the perfect summary of the place. It used to be good, but now even the waiters will throw their food away to save the customers the pain of eating that...

Si no nos damos cuenta, nos intoxican. Para empezar, según llegas, aunque el sitio aparentemente parece bonito, resulta algo casposo. Las cartas están muy sucias, da grima tocarlas. Te ponen un pan malísimo que ni en un bar de carretera. El típico pan pequeño que venden en los supermercados de los que van metidos en una bolsa 10 unidades, pues ese. Pedimos las bebidas (agua y Coca Cola) una ensalada de pimientos y ventresca , una alcachofa y hasta aquí todo correcto. Esperamos casi 40 minutos para que nos traigan el arroz. Cuando llega, algunas de las gambas tenían un sabor y olor a amoniaco que echaba para atrás. Hemos pedido que se llevaran el arroz y que nos trajeran la cuenta. He venido el responsable y le hemos comentado que las gambas estaban en malas condiciones, ni se ha sorprendido ni nada , ha pedido disculpas y rápidamente se ha ido para dentro para que los de las mesas cercanas no se percataran de nada. Nos han traído la cuenta y nos dicen que no nos han cobrado el arroz (solo faltaba, que lo hubieran cobrado, si se lo han llevado entero, solo lo habíamos probado!) y tampoco el pan y servicio… menuda deferencia han tenido! Que estamos hablando de un tema muy serio, comida en mal estado. No se han esforzado en ofrecernos otro plato que era lo mínimo que podían hacer… aunque lógicamente después de esto, si lo hubiera hecho lo hubiéramos rechazado. Si por no tirar cuatro gambas en mal estado te las cuelan en el arroz que fácilmente es detectable. A saber con que calidades elaboran el fumet y otras comidas que no se detectan…...

Excellent. The service was impeccable. We were a large group and ordered a black rice (good) una aroz abanda (better), and Valenciano (excellent). It is very comfortable restaurant, large.
