Sushibar KUBODA — Restaurant in Alcorcón

A jewel of Japanese food in the locality. I went for dinner, I had previously tried other sushi restaurants nearby so I was not expecting something far from them but it is. The freshness and preparation of their food stands out.

The toro sashimi is absolutely delicious and also the tuna sashimi, thick slices as expected. The wakame salad is fresh and tasty. Their nigiris and nori makos are small but don’t get it wrong, they worth it because is more fish than rice which speaks about the honesty of this restaurant, they don’t use rice as a filler. They offer a dessert list and tried the moshies, they were good. The prices are also fair, is not expensive and having in mind the quality and preparedness of their food, every cent worths its value here. Well done guys!

Standard sushi restaurant. Nothing too fancy. We went to have dinner with the whole family and we requested the Japanese-style rooms in the lower floor. Beer was very cold and the sushi was good. Decoration was neat but due for a renovation. Service was good but the girl had difficulty understanding some of the orders. Probably would not return, I'd rather take the risk...

Es mi restaurante japonés favorito. Suelo pedir comida para llevar, pero también voy a sentarme allí a la mesa bastante. La chica que recepciona y atiende el teléfono es majísima, siempre con una sonrisa, atenta y servicial. El sitio es pequeño pero agradable, acogedor y con mucha esencia de restaurante japonés, comes o cenas muy a gusto. El trato del personal siempre es muy amable y atento, y ya la comida es especial porque se diferencia mucho de los grandes bufets de sushi o cadenas que hay por Madrid. Este sitio tiene piezas de sushi de calidad, muy rico de sabor, muy bien hecho, se nota que no es una cadena y que cuidan los detalles. El resto de la carta también está increíble, el Kamo Yakishoba es uno de mis favoritos, tienen cervezas Sapporo y Asagi, y para finalizar el café que hacen está muy bueno.
