Yesterday at about 9:00 a.m. we came here and sat on the terrace. We immediately asked the waiter Ariel to close the Toldo and wanted to place an order. The waiter asked us to sit down and promised to take care of everything, but then he began cleaning another table, and then just went about his business, started chatting with other customers. I don't understand why his priority was to clear that table on an empty terrace (besides us, there was only 1 other table occupied at that time, about 10 tables were empty and clean) instead of closing the Toldo for us, ensuring our comfort. Closing the Toldo objectively posed no problem for the waiter, but for some reason, he felt it was right to leave us sitting in the heat under the blazing sun while he attended to his own tasks in the empty cafe. When I asked Ariel why he was doing everything in this order, he said that he was doing his job and implied that we were stopping him from doing it. I want to complain about this waiter because he does not interact professionally with the guests. He recently started working here, and we have already observed several displays of unprofessionalism. For example, we witnessed him dropping a tray full of dishes and instead of cleaning up he just left the mess and walked away angrily. Other waiters had to clean up after him. I believe that his behavior is completely unworthy and unprofessional. I ask the cafe management to take notice of this and take action, either by providing additional training for this waiter or by...
Read moreDont go here! You better go to the bar next door. We visited twice and they can clearly not manage to run the place. The first time the service took long and the terrace was completely left unattended but the second time was terrible. After waiting 45 minutes for two chocolates and six churros, they kept on making mistakes with orders. We were finally served after one hour. Some tables around us experienced the same, while others were served chocolate within five minutes after arriving. Even though the employees promised us to bring the ordered drinks several times they kept on messing up. They are completely out of control and the employees don’t know the table numbers (there are few tables). Besides the churros are served burned and it is a huge mess in the establishment, especially the bathroom. A shame for the wonderful...
Read moreWe are staying close by and had not had a coffe and churros yet, so we tried Valor. The location is excellent, with a choice of inside, a veranda or out on the prom. We decided on the veranda. The place was not busy at all. As no one had come to us, I went in to place an order, only for the waiter to point outside, meaning he would come out. While we are obviously not from Spain, we speak and understand enough to order simple food and drink and I felt the waiter was not particularly keen to serve us. The churros was very doughy, feeling a bit greasy. The coffee was Luke warm at best. Not the best experience, which was a shame for an exceptional location. We...
