The food was excellent but the overall experience is shadowed by the service quality. Not sure if there is a difference how precisely they take the orders between tourists and locals or it’s the same for whoever steps in. I showed with my finger in the menu 3 tapas selection (with my finger so it could be def sure what I want to order) and the woman still organized 2 of them right and 1 of them wrong and the one she organized wrong in front of me was 3 x more expensive than I actually ordered. Also my friend ordered one meal that is in their menu in smaller and bigger version but as she did not noticed that it is in the menu also in bigger version then the woman automatically brought 10€ more expensive version - saying later to my friend that she could have specified which version she wants BUT the servant knows the menu by heart not the visitor so let’s be honest the waiter should specify for not having later such unpleasant and unexpected surprise. Seems a bit like intentional arrangement so that later the visitor just doesn’t have anything to do to pay and well the place can earn more by hustling. So just for those who can’t pay later bigger bill than budgeted for the meal time then be aware and be alert. We were super happy with the food so kudos for the kitchen staff and employees buuut the woman waiter kind of ruined the experience so there will not be second visit. There are many same level restaurant are along the street and we can strike with our legs and wallets and leave the money elsewhere. I hope the management of the restaurant reads this and review the customer experience policy. Happened...

Visitamos este restaurante atraídos por su fantástica ubicación frente al mar. Es difícil resistirse a una mesa con vistas directas a la playa, y en ese sentido la experiencia comenzó con buen pie. El entorno es perfecto para una comida relajada al sol, ideal para quienes buscan disfrutar del ambiente costero. No obstante, cuando la comida empezó a llegar, las expectativas comenzaron a desinflarse.

Pedimos una paella, como no podía ser de otra manera estando junto al mar. Sin embargo, fue una gran decepción. El arroz tenía el punto de cocción correcto, pero el sabor era plano, falto de intensidad. No se apreciaban los matices del fumet ni ese toque de mar que uno espera en un arroz bien hecho. Los ingredientes parecían frescos, pero no lograban levantar el plato. En resumen, una paella que parecía pensada más para cumplir que para impresionar. Cuando uno paga precios de primera línea de playa, espera al menos un plato que emocione un poco más.

También pedimos una ensaladilla rusa como entrante. Estaba bien presentada y la ración era generosa, pero el sabor era simplemente correcto. No tenía ningún elemento que la hiciera destacar: ni una textura especial, ni un toque casero, ni un aliño diferente. Cumplía, pero sin más. Es el tipo de tapa que olvidas cinco minutos después de haberla comido.

El servicio fue correcto, aunque algo impersonal. Nos atendieron rápido y con educación, pero sin demasiado entusiasmo. Da la impresión de que el restaurante sabe que su mayor atractivo es la ubicación, y no siente la necesidad de esforzarse demasiado en otros aspectos. No hubo malas formas, pero tampoco sentimos que se preocuparan especialmente por si estábamos disfrutando o no.

El precio, como cabía esperar, era algo elevado. No escandaloso, pero sí más alto de lo que justifica la calidad de los platos. Básicamente estás pagando por sentarte a pocos metros de la arena, lo cual es comprensible hasta cierto punto, pero decepciona cuando la comida no está a la altura.

En definitiva, este restaurante vive de su localización, y eso se nota. Es un sitio perfecto para tomar algo, relajarse con la brisa marina y disfrutar del paisaje. Pero si vas buscando una experiencia gastronómica memorable, especialmente si tu elección es una paella, probablemente saldrás con la sensación de que has pagado más por la vista que por el sabor.

No descarto volver algún día a tomar una cerveza o un café frente al mar, pero para comer volvería solo si el resto de opciones...
