I am chef in Long Beach , CA and I know the importance of a great meal is great service and the girls at Fernando’s are wonderfully friendly! There is nothing like a warm smile to make you feel welcome and Silvia did just that. Especially for tourists that don’t speak the language. Like my husband from Detroit Michigan USA 🇺🇸 who was very hesitant to come to Spain 🇪🇸 because of the language barrier . But Silvia changed that with her well spoken friendly English bringing my husband his now favorite cafe con leche ! We came everyday for 5 days to have breakfast here because of her . We observed how hardworking she is and even in her busiest days she knew to check in on her customers and know when to refill coffee , water and refreshing pints 🍺! They have a variety of delicious breakfast items , freshest bread and best cafe con leche I’ve ever had ! I highly recommend La Tacoma de Fernando for yummy food , delicious homemade cakes , great vibes , beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea that soothes your soul and don’t forget the best orange 🍊 juice I’ve ever had that tastes like a glass of sunshine 🌞! Viva Alicante...

Llegar y sentarnos en una mesa que no tenía ningún papel de reserva, hemos tenido que esperar bastante a que nos atiendan (entra dentro de lo lógico que empezaban a estar llenos), que nos traigan mal las cervezas, decirle que no pasa nada que nos apañamos, estar tan solo 20 min de los cuales casi 10 han sido de esperas, pedir la cuenta y tardar tanto que le voy dentro a pagar y así quitarles jaleo y dejar la mesa libre. Avisar al salir al camarero que ya he pagado dentro que no se preocupe y que me responda de malos modos “pues ir recogiendo que hay gente esperando esa reserva”. Para empezar si me dices cuando me siento y me atiendes que la tenía que liberar a una hora, te la libero sin problemas, aunque hayáis tardado en atender, eso lo entiendo, vais a tope y no podéis hacer mas. Lo que no te consiento es que sin haberme dicho nada de reservas me trates en ese tono a grito en la terraza y créeme que la próxima vez, aunque dudo que vuelva, te pido la hoja de reclamaciones...
