Moments Bar — Restaurant in Alicante

I've been to Moments bar a number of times and from my last experience at this place, I will not be back, neither recommend it to anyone. The service has never been too good but the food is decent, although quite expensive for what you get, and the sea view is nice. However, I'd recommend people to eat at any of the other restaurants by the sea if they're planning on having a meal or drink in Urbanova. They'll get nicer service and cheaper food for sure. The last time I was there, on the 7th of April 2025, I went for lunch with a friend from Brazil, and the waiter and waitress were specially rude, not even greeting us when we were waiting at the entrance, and looking in a not friendly way to us from top to bottom. When I greeted them and asked them for a table they weren't especially polite either. I spoke to the Supervisor and reported the situation, which made me and my friend feel really uncomfortable. We should have gone definitely at this point but we stayed. From there on, the waitress was correct, but the waiter was especially rude and made us both feel very uncomfortable. Before we left I made the Supervisor aware of the situation, who was not bothered at all. In all the previous times I've been to Moments, they've never been so rude which made me wonder of the reason. I really believe that Moments Group should have better training delivered to their employees on Equality and Diversity, and better training in general to their staff to offer a nice experience to their customers. If you're looking for a place where you surely will be made feel welcome, go somewhere in Urbanova. And if you'll have friends over and would like to impress them by taking them at a nice place, don't bring them here. I will definitely not be back to Moments and now go quite often to the Venezuelan Restaurant, also at the seafront...

My husband and I came across this restaurant walking along the beach promenade by accident as needed somewhere to eat for dinner and all the other nearby restaurants were closed as the season had not opened yet. We had high expectations as the place looked really lovely. Started outside and tried to order food but was told the kitchen does not open until 8pm. We decided to go inside as it was turning cooler outside and the inside decor and interior design is very elegant and tasteful. I ordered a hamburger meal and my husband ordered a salmon meal. Unfortunately when my hamburger came it was raw with blood oozing out although I had asked for well done so they returned the plate to the kitchen. I waited approximately 15 minutes for it to come back out. The burger is in between what I can only describe as Warburton thins and if you are British you will know what they are so not a proper burger bun or a brioche there was no lettuce or mayo or tomato so very bland and the burger itself was rubbish very chewy tough and tasteless. My husbands salmon was okay but it was supposed to come with vegetables and was just sat on a couple of pieces of artichoke. Paid €24.50 for just the Salmon & extra €7.50 for some chips. No apology from the staff for the burger incident and not even a goodbye when we left so not a great experience will not be going back there avoid...

Service was awful! So disappointed, we were a table of 5 and we all happily chose to have the mandatory brunch menu per person (14€ per cap). I’m medically prescribed to not to have coffee and requested a substitution of “colacao” (Spanish chocolate powder with hot milk) the menu included “cafe con leche” (Spanish coffee with hot milk [same!]) and the waiter, very inattentive and unkind, said NO right away and the gentleman added that if we were to choose that we’d have to pay it extra. We insisted on please having a different drink since the menu included a hot drink. We were so embarrassed that WE said ok, thank you. Portions were small and unbelievable!!—- The fresh orange juice was reduced with water! (Photo) Tortitas very thin although delicious. The only positive comment is that the lady in the bar prepping the food and coffees came out and very kindly moved the table for us to not to get wet from pouring rains at the time. No more moments...
