During my visit to Alicante, I had the pleasure of dining at Mesón Marinero, and it quickly became one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. This family run gem embodies everything you want from an authentic dining experience: passion, warmth, and exceptional food. One of the owners, who was also serving, made the lunch truly special. His enthusiasm for food and wine was contagious. He took the time to describe several bottles of wine in detail, helping us choose the perfect pairing for our meal. The attention to detail and personal touch made it feel like we were dining in someone’s home. The food? Simply outstanding. The Turbot in Castreña Way is an absolute must-try, perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented. Every dish was a celebration of local ingredients and tradition. One of the best meals I had in Spain so far. We wanted to have nice lunch since it looked great in the reviews. It exceeded my already high expectations. The restaurant is nice and cozy with a very warm feel. The staff was super nice and helpful, even though I barely spoke any Spanish. But the most important part was the food. It was simply great, we had a variety seafood dishes and also a steak. The food was fresh and had a very well balanced seasoning, the octopus ist superb. The streak was also well prepared, great char on the crust and made as we wanted, medium rare.

We just walked in without a reservation with the kids, the food was delicious. You can see that it was freshly prepared from good quality fish. The service was great, not everyone speaks English but there was always someone who spoke and there was no problem with communication. The portions were big and really tasty and the prices were affordable, I have the impression that they were even low for such good quality food. If I am nearby I will definitely...
