Restaurante NOU PINET. — Restaurant in Alicante

This out of the way eatery deserves greater recognition in Alicante, tucked away in a corner of San Gabriel it is very easy to overlook it. The reason for our visit was to try their tapa cofrada. The greeting was friendly, offered wine as well as the beer which is supposed to be with the tapa and provided with some unusual salted olives. I enjoyed them but my wife not so much. Then out of the blue and not part of our order we were gifted a slice of tortilla each. It seemed to be made with egg yolks only or certainly a high proportion of yolk to whites. Served warm it was a little runny but very tasty. Then on to the purpose of our visit the tapa cofrada. This was a large meatball served on a bed of Pajas (from a packet) and dressed with a tomato and pepper sauce. It was delicious, the best I have ever tasted. We will be going back for more. Incidentally, we visited just before lunch and they were busy setting up the tables, all were booked. Whilst we were there they received another phone reservation and the managed to fit another table in for two. This is a restaurant that goes the extra mile for...

Estando de vacaciones y un poco perdidos, acabamos en el barrio de san Gabriel, donde se encuentra el bar nou pinet. El bar es un bar sencillo de tamaño mediano pero que no le falta ningún detalle bueno. La limpieza del mismo es correcta así como el comedor como los baños e instalaciones. La amabilidad y el servicio es de 10, donde te dan las facilidades o posibilidad de hacer platos combinados aún no estando en carta. Nosotros pedimos como entrante unos huevos rotos con jamón. El jamón es recién cortado de la pata, nada de jamón de envase del súper. Y como platos combinados, pedimos secreto y solomillo, acompañado de salsa, patatas y pimientos del padrón. Calidad de la materia prima 100% Y para terminar una tarta de tres chocolates. Aparte de la bebida café, nos pareció un precio súper económico y muy razonable para la cantidad y calidad de la comida. Al día siguiente volvimos a desayunar a pesar que no nos caía de camino. Y el desayuno, unas buenas tostadas de jamón con tomate aceite y queso, como he dicho antes, todo natural y nada de envase del súper, ya podréis ver las fotos. Nuestra cara de asombro cuando vimos que por 6€ desayunamos súper a gusto y con productos de primera calidad.

Estoy seguro que si vuelvo por alicante este sitio lo tendré como referencia para comer, desayunar...

Lokal nie rzuca się w oczy, a zdecydowanie warto się tutaj udać. Byliśmy we wtorkowe popołudnie więc oprócz nas był jeden stolik z lokalnymi mieszkańcami. Obsługa bardzo miła, spokojnie i bardzo smacznie (wzięliśmy ser kozi ze słodkim sosem, coś a la bruchette z alio oli i pomidorami oraz huevos rotos pinet), kawa również. Za te trzy posiłki, trzy kawy (takie dobre że wzięliśmy na wynos) i piwo zapłaciliśmy ok 22 euro, więc zaskakująco niewiele. Jedna gwiazdka mniej za klimat ponieważ głośno chodził telewizor z Newsami, preferuje muzykę:)
