Prólogo Specialty Coffee, Brunch & Events — Restaurant in Alicante

We’ve been there a few times and we were happy to discover another place with brunch in this area. However, the last two times we’ve been there, they didn’t want to receive us. We asked for a table for 8 and they said that are fully booked. The next morning we asked again for a table of 8 and they said that it is not possible - we literally called exactly at the opening time, it wasn’t during the weekend or public holiday and when we drove in front of it, we could see that there were almost empty. The customer service should be improved. Then another negative is that really often the place gets bees…you cannot really enjoy the meal because of the bees. We didn’t want to kill them but my husband is super allergic to bee bites and it was stressful for us to pay attention, to stay...

En el día de hoy, estuve con mi mujer disfrutando en esta cafetería, esta vez desayunamos ya que teníamos muchas ganas de ir no solo a tomar café sino a probar su comida.

Pues bien, pedimos unos huevos Benedict y una tostada french, con dos cafés ( el café ya lo habíamos probado en otra ocasión y está súper!!) Vayamos por partes porque la reseña lo merece:

El ambiente es súper tranquilo, donde da gusto tomarse un café porque parece que se para el tiempo, tiene terraza y sitio en el interior.

El trato es siempre super educado, respetuoso y profesional.

La comida que pudimos disfrutar hoy, es especial, su presencia en el plato, el sabor, la delicadeza de su preparación.

Los huevos estaban perfectos, en su mezcla de sabores y sensaciones.

La tostada francesa increíblemente rica, cacahuetes en frutos secos decorados por el plato, crema de cacahuete, helado... Buuuah que brutalidad.

Un detalle que me parece digno de reseñar, te preguntan si es para compartir y así saca los salado antes y lo dulce después, respetando los tiempos.

Cómo dije, no veo color en comparación con otros lugares que pueden ofrecer un servicio similar.

La calidad se impone siempre.

If you’re staying near downtown Alicante Prologo may seem a little far for breakfast. But with the ease of the Alicante Tram it’s no problem. And, the food is absolutely worth the brief tram ride.

I had “the Smoky” breakfast sandwich. It was a tremendous pairing of flavors and color. It was a genuine experience that reminds me of how good it is to simply be alive. There’s really nothing more I can say other than it was...
