Foster's Hollywood — Restaurant in Almeria

Very disappointed. Poor service and food. After being shown to a table another waitress had to be summoned to take a drinks order which was just two cafe americanos but this was a problem for some reason. Eventually the coffees arrived and we ordered our food. This took around 35 minutes to arrive. Upon arrival one dish was cold (chicken enchiladas) the other dish was a Californian Salad minus the BBQ chicken. Both were removed by an efficient waitress after much discussion about whether chicken should be in the salad. It is listed on the menu. After another 15 minutes fresh dishes arrived. This time the enchiladas were hot but obviously placed on a cold plate. The salad still now contained no BBQ chicken pieces but some extra walnuts and cheese. We gave up and ate. We had a second coffee which is good. No further attention given to check that all was well. I had to get up and speak to a waitress to ask for the bill. After 15 minutes waiting for the bill we gave up and moved to the checkout till. The waitress there, the same one I had asked for the bill said goodbye to us! We could have left without paying but we did not and called again for the bill. We have been visiting the Fosters Hollywood in Centro Mediterranean for many years and so this one in Torrecardenas which is much bigger was a real disappointment. Some of the seating is hard and uncomfortable. The chef, waitresses and management require much more training. We will not be returning. We observed two men sitting adjacent to us had a similar long wait of about 50 minutes before they received any food. We will not return to...

We have visited Fosters Hollywood at least 3 times before in Parque Almenara,Lorca ,where the food has always been excellent . However yesterday we visited the branch in the Centro commercial shopping centre I Almería . I must first stress that the waitress was absolutely excellent . The starter was really very good , but the main course was a different matter ,my husband ordered the Newyorker steak and i the rigatoni pasta .

The steak wa probably the worst one he has ever had ! There was more fat and grissal, than there was meat ! When you pay over €17 for a piece of meat ,that's what you expect to get ! My pasta dish was thick and pretty solidified , very tacky in the mouh and not enjoyable .

It was an extremely disappointing meal , I feel that I wasted over €60 on a meal we both ,didn't enjoy , obviously didn't risk a desert . Can't see us going...

No staff to be seen so seated ourselves

We allowed for the fact that the young waitress seemed to be working alone. Our order was taken after a longer than normal wait. I ordered burritos which arrived lukewarm. Another guy had come on duty by then and he took them back to the kitchen, where they were reheated in a microwave, which meant the ends tasted like leather though the middle was definitely hot.
