Pimienta Negra Gastrobar — Restaurant in Almuñécar

We went for a light dinner here on Tuesday night as we saw they had allergy labelling on the menu. Ordered three of the light plates adjusted for gluten free and vegetarian. First that arrives is the burrata and cherry tomato salad. Tasted of nothing, and the cherry tomatoes weren’t even ripe. A while later out comes the monstrosity pictured below - soggy french fries covered with burger cheese and sour cream with a couple of jalapeños for good measure. It was horrific. Worse though, due to hunger we ended up scraping off the orange to eat the fries. Waiter came to ask us what we thought and we were too awkward to tell the truth that it was probably the worst thing we have ever paid €12,50 for. Final dish arrives ten minutes later - nachos. Surprisingly ok, though overkill on the liquid sour cream. All in all, the worst €50 we have ever spent on food and three beers. Priceless for the entertainment factor though - as that french fry dish will go down in history as the benchmark against all other food is set, ‘as least it wasn’t as bad as those fries...

The waiters/waitresses had let us wait over an hour for our food, the food wasn’t really good and the service was horrible. The carpaccio wasn’t beef it tasted like jamon and the burger was cold and we got about 5 fries as garnish. The drinks came after 30 minutes and we waited way to long for them. We prefer McDonnald’s! We will most likely be suffering from food...

El peor sitio de todo Almuñécar, después de ir a varios sitios. He estado comiendo hoy allí y la atención pésima la mesa la tuvimos que mover nosotros para sentarnos ya q no venís nadie a colocarla, y levantarnos para que vinieran a tomarnos nota . Nada más llegar hemos pedido una consumición cada uno y estoy viendo que en el resto de mesas están poniendo una tapa con la consumición pero a nosotros nunca nos ha llegado, además de que me dijeron que las estaban haciendo... no las han puesto. No sabíamos si comer menú del día o a la carta. .decidimos menu por los niños y teníamos que levantarnos a avisarles para que vinieran a tomar nota tanto primer plato como segundo plato. El postre solamente tenían helado de contesa, no había opción a nada más, no es normal. La camarera, se supone que la encargada, con trenzas en el pelo para q se sepa quien es, vino a la mesa al final de la comida de forma chulesca diciendo que la tapa solo se ponía a los que comían a la carta, que eso es lo que había y gritando. Yo no me he callado tampoco porque no tenía razón. Personal nada profesional, No tienen ni idea...
