From the moment we set foot in La Traditionale, we knew we were in the right place. Ideally situated right on the Mediterranean coast, this restaurant offers not only a magnificent setting but, more importantly, a welcoming atmosphere that instantly envelops you. It is the very embodiment of genuine hospitality, where the pleasure of the host and the quality of the cuisine come together to create a memorable experience.

A Feast of Flavors La Traditionale's menu is a fulfilled promise of authentic flavors. We started with the anchovy and burrata bruschettas, a delicate and fresh starter, perfect for whetting the appetite. The meal continued brilliantly: the seafood spaghetti was stunningly fresh, a true delight of the sea. The pesto fettuccine, for their part, demonstrated the excellence and simplicity of classic Italian cuisine. Every dish was excellent, executed with care and highlighting the quality of the ingredients. To conclude this feast, coffee and a digestif perfected the moment, leaving a delicious impression of satiety and satisfaction.

Silviu: The Humorous and Cinematic Server :) However, what truly made this evening exceptional was our server, Silviu. His warm welcome and sense of humor elevated the experience from a simple meal to a moment of pure enjoyment. He has a knack for creating a connection and a genuine exchange with his guests. We will long remember the little joke where, knowing my eagerness for the seafood spaghetti, he made me believe for a moment that they were out! It was a truly fun moment of shared laughter. Oh, and for the Hollywood touch: according to my wife, Silviu strongly resembles... George Clooney! :)

We made a big mistake choosing this restaurant. At the beginning it was quite okay, waiter was rather talkative and we thought we will have a good food with some rest. Unfortunately the food we ordered was terrible - the pizza was tasteless, we informed about it and waiter brought some spicy oil, but to be honest it wouldn’t change anything about this strange taste of “having no taste” and being loaded with some bad quality ingredients. He also told us that this is real Italian pizza - it was not, we’ve been to Italy multiple times and definitely a big NO. Actually it felt like he told us we don’t have an idea how the Italian pizza taste, what a strange manner while not knowing anything about the clients. My husband also had a soup, but it looked so bad so I didn’t even tried it. He left more than a half of the soup and we left ~80% of pizza, however we paid the whole bill, with no “sorry” nor any compensation. Waiter and waitress served simultaneously our table so a few words about the waitress as she also reached the pro level of being unprofessional and impolite. My husband said to her that the pizza will be “for the lady” - because it was for me actually. When she came with the pizza she pulled her face and said “for the lady” like she was mocking words of my husband. I really think that such kind of people shouldn’t work with other people...

I declare it my favorite restaurant in Altea! Excellent food, impeccable service, maximum hospitality, especially Silviu, who is a true culinary guide for all the senses and preferences, beautiful view, wonderful atmosphere for a wonderful vacation! the tuna grill with vegetables and potatoes, gambas with garlic, pizza with yeast dough for 48 hours, with 6 types of cheese!!!, the divine chocolate mousse with natural whipped cream, tiramisu and strawberry panna cotta, the most tasty sangria, I recommend them with all my heart, you will not regret it! I am a great lover of good food and a welcoming atmosphere! And something else that made me exclaim with pleasure: coffee with baleys!! It is a treat for the senses! I drink...
