Pizzería IL TIMONE express — Restaurant in Altea

Great pizza, in a good location, eat in or take away. We first went to "Il Timone express" on a Saturday early morning around 12:30 AM. The place was open because there was the Patron Saint days and the Moors and Christians Festivities. The staff was very friendly and helpful, a BIG slice of delicious pizza was 2.5 euros and they had cold beer. Being close to our accomodation we went for a proper pizza in the restaurant and a coffee in the morning. Pizza is tasty, Coffee is good, toilets are clean and the staff is very friendly. Fuimos después de una visita rápida por el pueblo viejo de altea con los niños y creo que no podíamos haber acertado más

Esta pegado al casco viejo, después de bajar por una de sus empinadas calles y al lado de uno de los parkings gratuitos más grandes de la zona

El restaurante tiene zona para pedidos y con mesas. Ahora con el covid no son muchas, unas 8 y en general guardan bien las distancias

El restaurante está bastante nuevo y todo muy limpio y bien cuidado

Nosotros comimos solo pizzas, las individuales están bien para un adulto o dos niños pequeños.

Pedimos jamón York y queso, cuatro estaciones y Amalfi (salmón, queso philadelfia y alcaparra) y la verdad que estaban todas riquísimas, masa fina y bien hecha, ingredientes en su justa medida sin abusar del tomate o queso...si te gusta la pizza tipo italiano esta genial!

La carta también tenía pastas y carnes pero estábamos con ganas de pizza!

Mención especial al camarero, que nos trato genial, especialmente a los niños a los que busco dibujos y pinturas para que se entretuvieran. Muy recomendable para familias

Además el precio nos pareció muy bueno, las tres pizzas, cerveza, dos copas de vino, agua e infusión por 30 euros
