We were so looking forward to spend our anniversary here and booked a table outside on the terrasse. Unfortunately for us a large group of women, about 40 arrived right before us so we had to wait for a table to be brought out for us. We got seated and another couple came next to us. We sat there for 30 minutes waiting and the couple that came after us got to order and had some drinks. But we still sat there for another 10 minutes and nothing happened. We arrived hungry and now we realised that it might take another hour until we even get our starters as the group behind just started ordering theirs. So we walked out of there very disappointed and decided to eat somewhere else. I think that when you have such a large group of people coming together, they are fully aware that it would take some time to be served. But you should not neglect a couple of 2, who you easily could have served in between so we felt seen and heard. I know that you are very friendly and serviceminded, but in this case you should have let us know that you did not actually have the time or capacity to serve us. After doing a little research online and seeing the terrace area with lovely views we decided to dine here on our recent trip to Altea. We made our online booking for the terrace and confirmed via email however when we arrived we were told that we couldn't eat there because they were catering for another party on the terrace. Even after I showed my booking confirmation the answer was no until one staff member appeared to say that we should be seated. After conversing between themselves the staff then cleared a table on the small balcony which was being used by a staff member prior to this. We did eat our meal which was OK but we didn't get the experience that we booked and expected. We felt like we were being accommodated only because they felt they had to. Una velada fantastica en familia. Visitamos todos los años Altea para cenar en familia (vacaciones en Benidorm). Siempre en un restaurante cercano a la iglesia y este año coincidió cerrado el día que fuimos, buscamos otro restaurante y todos llenos, ya cuando nos dimos por vencidos y en un ultimo intento dimos con casa vital de casualidad:
Llego y pregunto al dueño creo que era, si hay sitio, al contrario que en los demás locales donde la respuesta era un tajante no, aquí el propietario dijo alegremente si vamos a ver que se puede hacer, (empezamos bien) buena predisposición.
Nos sentaron en la terraza , agradable sitio con buenas vistas, nos tomaron el pedido un camarero de color (que me disculpe no recuerdo su nombre) con un trato espectacular, se nota que es una persona vital y alegre con ganas de agradar.
También el propietario muy bien en todo momento.
En cuanto a la calidad de la comida no nos defraudo en absoluto, muy bien, presentación y sabor perfecto, postres espectaculares. A los 4 nos encanto todo en general.
El trato del camarero impecable. comida muy muy buena Resultado mas que satisfactorio, incluso nos fuimos con la pena de no poder disfrutarlo otra día mas en nuestras vacaciones, parece una tonteria pero en el viaje de vuelta hibamos con una sensación de tristeza pensando que pena no tenerlo mas cerca, por el buen sabor de boca que nos dejo.
Se nota que el propietario pone mucho esfuerzo en agradar, dar calidad. ya con eso tiene mucho ganado y si sigue perseverando llegara a ser un fijo para nosotros en nuestras visitas futuras. Añadiendo que el camarero que nos atendió hizo la experiencia de 10 totalmente.
Por poner alguna pega , mejor dicho opinión personal o a mejorar..... Los vasos 4 que teníamos en mesa eran 2 de una forma y otros 2 distintos, parece una tonteria pero es un detalle que me parece mejor vestida la mesa si son todos iguales. Luego el pan de hamburguesa yo utilizaría un pan de mas calidad. Servicio entre platos un pelín mas rápido.
Pero son detalles que se pueden mejorar pero no importantes como para q nuestra experiencia fuera muy muy alta positivamente.
